 Specifications

1.Chassis

No chrome moly tube permitted

Mild Steel tube to be used 3mm WT

2.Brakes

Hydraulic type to be foot operated

Minimum of 3 wheel brakes for NON live axle rear ends

Solid live axle rear to have 1x 4 piston brake caliper

3. Rear Axle

Quick change differential optional

75mm steel axle tube

Differential to be locked

Live or full floating axles

4. Front Axle

No aluminium front axles

King pin or stub axles permitted

5. Wheels

Sprintcar type wide aluminum or steel wheels for rear

Front wheels aluminum or steel maximum 8” wide

6. Engine

Engine must have been manufactured 5 years or more prior to racing Maximum 360ci

Camshaft to be flat tappet with maximum 0.580” valve lift

Flat top pistons

No alloy heads

Block and head to be mass produced i.e. Chev, Ford, Holden or Chrysler etc.

Must be self starting i.e. to have a starter motor

7. Transmission

Must have forward & reverse

Must have a clutch to enable stop/start under its own power

8. Fuel

Methanol permitted

Maximum volume = 68 litres

9. Exhaust

Noise level must not exceed 95 decibels

10. Bodies

Must be fitted with a fiberglass body

Body must be a copy of a production vehicle from the small or micro class car range

11. Weight

Maximum =1200kg

Minimum = 860kg
