It’s amazing how fast a season seems to go, with one race meeting to go before we wrap up, with the finale at Swan Hill on Sunday 13th of June.

Swan Hill is sure to be a great weekend and everyone is welcome to join in with the group as they take in the great social aspect of this trip away, with many heading out to Murray Downs on the Saturday night, before a BBQ at the Lazy River Motor Inn on the Sunday prior to heading out to the track for racing.

The Presentation dinner will be held this year in Warrnambool at the Old Collegians Football Club rooms. It is $30 a head, and bookings can be made with Ena on 5595 1174 B/h by Friday 25th of June.

It was also great to see a number of drivers stepping aside from their cars at Mortlake on the 15th allowing crew members to take a stint behind the wheel with Leigh Lupton, Glenn Meade, Matt O'Shannassy, Mick Larkins and Peter Doolan all taking a stint behind the wheel, while Rob Richardson was also able to take his first win. From all accounts it was a great night and was thoroughly enjoyed by spectators and drivers.

The final results saw the win go to Shaun Toulmin, Leigh, Walsh, Morgan, Gale, Falkingham, Richardson and Garry Toulmin. Toulmin was thrilled to have added his name to the history books add his name to the Honour Roll of winners of the Col Grist Memorial.
